Helpdesk Assistants, Field Monitor and Field Monitor Cash Transfer ADRA Jobs

The Adventist Development & Relief Agency (ADRA) is a global humanitarian organization
that demonstrates God’s love & compassion.
ADRA Uganda is looking to recruit various positions for a anticipated food distribution project (one-year & five months) on food/cash distribution to be implemented in Rwamwanja – Kamwenge District (South-Western Uganda) & also for her Country Office in Kampala. The anticipated position/s are:

Position: Helpdesk Assistants (CFM)

The position holders will each be in charge of a given area. Be first point of contact for the project, log all request/concerns received via telephone, log, monitor & resolve routine complaints, escalate to supervisor those complaints that are high prof ile or require support to effectively resolve, collate feedback, ensure events requirements are carried out by relevant teams where required. Run reports & analyze helpdesk data as requested, manage day to day administration & filling as required.

Essential qualifications & experience:

A Bachelors Degree in Office Administration or a related field plus at least 3 years
relevant experience of delivering administrative/helpdesk duties which must include work which involved direct planning & organizing, working on multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent attention to detail. Excellent verbal & written communication skills, a passion for providing a world class customer service, excellent interpersonal skills & the ability to build effective professional relationships with colleagues at all levels/different areas & external stakeholders, able to maintain confidentiality.

Position: Field Monitor GFD

The position holders will each be in charge of a given area responsible for community & beneficiary mobilization & sensitization of the project goal & objectives; to provide end user monitoring, supervision of food/cash/voucher distribution & prepare periodic documentation & reports of all activities undertaken in the field by ADRA Uganda.

Essential qualifications & experience:

A minimum of a Diploma in vocational skills, agriculture or related discipline with hands on experience in food for work, cash or voucher implementation modalities, at least one years’ field experience in food/voucher/cash distribution, good mobilization & training skills & ability to perform field assignments with minimal supervision. Applicant must have a valid motor-cycle riding permit & should be willing to reside in the project area.

Position: Field Monitor Cash Transfer

The position holders will each be in charge of a given area to sensitize, mobilize community on shifting from food aid to cash transfer/distribution, set up cash distribution according to ADRA Uganda & donors standard distribution procedures & provide end user monitoring, reports & accurate documentation on all cash transfers (and none food) distribution activities.

Essential qualifications & experience:

A Diploma or its equivalent in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Management or
Social Science, a minimum of two years field experience, preferably in humanitarian affairs, in cash for food distribution, good communication & computer skills, ability to work in a team. Applicant Must have a valid motor-cycle riding permit & should be willing to reside in the project area.
